Trickreich 16 presents the latest productions of the class of Animated Cartoon of Kassel.

In a variety of ways every days life challenges are implemented in creative and imaginative ways. The journey becomes the reward. Step by step problems get solved.

The films are serving with answers to questions that usually nobody dares to ask.

It’s a great mixture of complementary works, workshop results and small projects that all invite you to join our insanity and to plunge into unexpected depths of the mind.

It’s that time again: By TRICKREICH FÜNFZEHN the animation class of Kunsthochschule Kassel will present their current works.
As usual, it is about the basic questions of life: If everyone pulls me down, do I still want to get up? Does this man have a bird or is it in his imagination? Is Eddy a Champion? The answers to these questions will be given at the 4th, 5th and 6th February at 22:15 in BALi-Kino, Kulturbahnhof Kassel.

TRICKREICH fourteen – 5.+6.+7. February 2014

As usual, they deal with the basic questions of life: What happens when friends meet for coffee and then start with a cannon? What does a knight whose wife thinks too well with him? Where is Eugene’s lash? How can two dwellers living at the harbor find each other by a song on a cassette?

The audience now has the opportunity to receive the answers to these questions on three evenings and at the same time to experience an entertaining trickfilm evening with about 20 films and trailers of the animation film class. For example, the closing film “An Adventurous Afternoon” by Ines Christine Geisser is shown, which has already been shown at various festivals.

In addition, the trailers, which were created as part of a competition, handle the question of the use of mobile phones in the cinema. These trailers were selected at the opening of the 2013 documentary.

Two “classic clips” on the music of Claude Debussy will be shown from another contest within the scope of TRICKREICH FOURTEEN at Balikino.

In one block works are shown which have been created for two semesters by order of the documenta archive and in collaboration with the Museum of Sepulcheral Culture and the Cultural Office of Kassel. On the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the City of Kassel, students developed different short films that put the work and life of the Documenta artist and former professor of sculpture, Harry Kramer, in the forefront.

The films deal with ideas of transience, dance and the self-determination of man. Under the project name Harry Who? They were shown at midnight, in the shortest night of the year, in the necropolis in the Habichtswald in Kassel and a part of them was presented at the Kassel Dokfest.

The students, whose films are shown, will be present at the shows and introduce themselves briefly.

TRICKREICH 2011 sold out

The annual presentation of the Kasseler Trickfilmproduktionen on 09 and 10 February provided for a full cinema. The screening has grown a cultic character – so no wonder that the great hall of the Bali cinema was sold out on the first evening.

To those who missed the Trickfilm evening: next year you will be invited to Trickreich 2012 at the beginning of February and during the annual exhibition “Tour” in July of this year some of the films will be shown together with new productions.

The animation class shows it’s latest works, which deal with the basic questions of life as usual: Where does the journey of the guideless ship go? Why does everyone like sausages? Does love continue or hate us? And how much sex does Ute have before marriage?

The audience now has the twofold opportunity to experience the answers to these questions while experiencing an entertaining trickfilm evening: Wednesday, February 9, 2011 and Thursday, February 10, 2011, at 10:15 pm in the Great Hall of Bali Cinema.

TRICKREICH 2010 in Bali Kino

On 28 and 29 January 2010, the latest films of the Trickfilmklasse Kassel were presented at the Bali Cinema in Kassel. In the two days almost sold-out big hall the filmmakers presented their productions and presented themselves briefly to the audience.

What has been described as a “cracked festival atmosphere” in the Kassel local newspaper HNA (link to article [http://www.hna.de/nachrichten/kultur/kultur-lokal/verlieben-140-610747.html]) has been more firmly established for several years Part of Trickfilm’s annual presentation. The response of the audience to their own films is, after all, an important and valuable experience for the filmmakers.

In particular, for filmmakers like “The Burning House” by Nils Knoblich, “The Chosen One” by Damian Harmata, “The Precise Peter” by Martin Schmidt or “Vienne” by Robert Atangana Manifong was TRICKREICH a good opportunity to see how the audience To the result of monthly work.
Those who have missed TRICKREICH 2010 can comfort themselves: In July, a film evening with current films will take place in the course of this year’s annual exhibition of the Kunsthochschule – and next year there will certainly be a TRICKREICH 2011!

TRICKREICH 09

The Trickfilmklasse invited people to the Bali cinema on the 11th and 12th of February at TRICKREICH 2009, and numerous cartoon film lovers from Kassel have come. On both days, the evening performances of the annual productions we a complete success, and only a few seats were available in the large cinema hall. Also in the press coverage and in the Hessian Broadcoasting ( Hessischer Rundfunk ) http://www.hr-online.de/ the annual presentation of the Trickfilm department was very well received.
Of course, the next year will also be invited to a cinema evening to present the newly created films to the public.

Once again, the Trickfilmklasse of the Kunsthochschule Kassel will show you their latest work, which will deal with the basic questions of life as usual: Will Ferdi finally learn to fly? What is the rhythm of the everyday? Is not stupidity the highest form of happiness? What does “Leitplanke” actually mean in English? And is there really sensual pornography, or is in the end everything glisch and glamour?
