For more than 10 years now, Pictoplasma has been collecting, archiving and examining artistically reduced and abstracted character representations in Berlin. During this time, the project established a worldwide network of artists, designers, agencies and interested parties. At the Pictoplasma Festival, the world’s best characters in current films gather for an intensive weekend with screenings and lectures. Three Kasseler short films will be part of this year.

The festival will take place from 10th to 14th April 2013 at BABYLON am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, the PLATOON KUNSTHALLE Berlin and various Berlin galleries. Fabian Koppenhöfer (graduation in 2012) presents his film »Fänger« in the »Characters in Narration« program, the Duo Sun & Egg (Happy 2012) show »Psychedelic Midnight Mix« together with the film »Recently in the Woods« By Daniel van Westen. Fabian Koppenhöfer also presents further works of his own and more information on »fänger« in a lecture within the context of the »Conference« program.Wir freuen uns sehr über die Teilnahme und gratulieren herzlich!
